How many times in your life can you say that you played golf at a course with the word "Royal" at the beginning of its title? Rated among the top 100 courses in Australia, Royal Hobart offers the visiting golfer the opportunity to walk its fairways where some of the world's best players have walked before you, maybe just a bit closer to the middle of the fairway! Jack Nicklaus did it in 1971, on his way to winning the Qantas Australian Open.

As you would expect, Royal Hobart presents herself in a manner befitting her title, lush fairways, expansive undulating greens and as you would anticipate, well placed bunkers and hazards to protect her well deserved credibility.

Royal Hobart will offer serious challenges to all levels of golfers, she might be a little harder on some than others, but you would expect no less from this demanding layout. A must play during your time in Tasmania, if only to tell people who will listen that you played on the same course that Jack did!!
